Ismet Metcalfe, a delivery sister at York District Hospital, a mother of twins and a member of our club, runs a Twins Antenatal Class every other month at the hospital. Meet up at 7pm on a Wednesday evening in the reception area of the ante-natal clinic. This class is open to anyone expecting twins. Ismet would appreciate it if someone from the club could attend the meeting to offer informal advice and encouragement, and I'm sure so would the expectant Mums.

If you would like to help and can be at York District Hospital for 7pm on any of the following dates, please call Ismet at work on 01904 726004. A committee member always goes and we would like volunteers to accompany us, especially if your twins are under a year.

Mum's the Word is the new free and glossy magazine for parents and families in the York and surrounding area. Mum's the Word inspires readers to make positive life changes and to undertake new challenges. It also provides information, advice and support on real-life issues such as tackling debt.

Mum's the Word are looking for community outlets where the magazine can be distributed from small playgroups to our recent success with York Citizens Advice Bureau. Hi From Creepy Crawlies, York.

Just to let you know that we are hosting a special deal for parents with twins and triplets. Every wednesday we are having a "Buy one get one free!"

Parents or carers bringing twins, triplets, or quads...will get half price entry! We have a huge number of twins attending during the week and after speaking to a few we have decided it would be a good idea to attract carers to a set day, so they can meet up and pass on tips and gain support. We have a qualified Nursery Nurse who arranges daily activities, from craft to song time, and that along with the physical benefit of a play on the climbing frames make a trip to Creepies well worth it.
